Teaching is one of the ways I most enjoy doing philosophy, and I am especially drawn to introductory and interdisciplinary courses, where students bring varied backgrounds and often encounter philosophy for the first time. I help students recognize philosophical questions in the world they already inhabit and develop their own judgment through careful interpretation and argument, while learning from the experiences and perspectives they bring to our discussions.

I have taught Introduction to Philosophy and Science Fiction and Philosophy as a primary instructor, and have also taught discussion sections in ethics, philosophy of religion, and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
